About the comedians:
ROBERT FATA
Robert was a finalist at the Improv Harkins Last Laugh Comedy Competition, which led to several appearances on The BS Factor, with Brian and Stephanie, as well as co-hosting Latina Loca's Comedy Drive-by also on All Comedy Radio.
He's performed at such places as Laff's in Tucson, the Comedy Spot, the Tempe Improv and has toured many clubs in the USA. His comedy can best be described as intelligently sardonic. Robert's other TV and radio appearances include The Comedy Thrift Shop on local COX 98; a station which later asked him to fill in as the host of their health show, Fahrenheit 98.6. Robert is a regular guest on KWSS, and was asked to fill in for The Fabulous Amy Donahue on her show, where his performance became one of the most replayed shows in the history of the station, and had its own section on the website. Today, Robert spends his weekends at his home club, The Comedy Spot in Scottsdale. He can still be heard on KWSS 106.7FM (Phoenix) where he is a favorite on B Chillin with Gass, Monday nights from 8-10pm.
JIMMY EARLL
Jimmy Earll is the up and coming comedian to watch. He is a Filipino-American with a backwoods, white boy name. Jimmy started his comedy career at Yuk-Yuks Comedy Club in Toronto, Canada, where he shared the stage with up and coming amateur comedians as Norm McDonald and Anwar Knight. He has also performed at the Icehouse Comedy Club in Pasedena, CA., Knee-Slappers Comedy Lounge in Tempe, AZ.,Laffs in Tucson, AZ., Hyena’s Comedy Club in Arlington, TX., The Comedy Spot in Scottsdale, AZ. and at the Tempe Improv in Tempe, AZ. He has featured for headliners such as Brad Perry, James P. Connolly, Andres Fernandez, Dean Austin, Vic Dunlop, Dante, Darren Carter, Gene Pompa, Saturday Night Lives’ Jeff Richards and Kevin Pollak. Jimmy Earll finds humor in life’s everyday occurrences. With the unique ability to captivate his audience with hysterical stories in which he seamlessly weaves his observations and point of view. Jimmy keeps his entire audience engaged throughout his performance. He leaves you wanting more! No subject is taboo. He draws the inspiration for his act from his observations of his family and friends, and he believes the people he chooses to surround himself with will provide a source of comedic material for years to come.
BRUCE HEPPLER
Bruce Heppler has been told he looks like Nick Nolte, only sober.. and with a haircut. His signature sideburns remind us of the true 80's man he is. He has performed in comedy clubs, casinos and resorts throughout the US, and is a regular at the Comedy Spot in Scottsdale. His comedy will have you doubled over with his life observations.
MARY HANSON
Your host Mary Hanson is from Chicago, where she worked as a Paramedic for the Chicago Fire Department. Mary has been married for more than twenty years (to the same person), and has raised three teenagers. So for Mary the future held either therapy or comedy. Since it was infinitely cheaper, she chose comedy
Mary began her comedy career at Scottsdale Community College, under the instruction of Dee Anne Kinkade. After successfully completing this grueling course, Mary moved over to the Comedy Spot in Scottsdale, following Dee Anne, since she would continue with her mentor. When not practicing her stand-up, Mary has her own business working as a Decorative Artist doing faux finishes, murals, and interior design. But her first love is comedy.
Mary's heroes in Comedy are Jonathan Winters, Carol Burnett, Robin Williams and of course Rodney Dangerfield (God bless him)
